Manager’s Memo 6-12-23

Despite what you think, Jesus is NEVER annoyed with your needs. Last week there was a really hard day with Aurora. I’m sure it was teething but NOTHING made her happy. I’d pick her up when she cried and she’d cry harder. I’d try to feed her, change her diaper, even take her outside to see the chickens. Nothing seemed to help. I barely made it through the day between work and her care BUT… then the evening came. My day was almost done. We got her ready for bed, put on her little pink onesie and into her sleep sack and into my arms where she fell asleep. I looked down at her and thought of all the turmoil I had been thru that day and thought … she’s worth it. Auroras dependence on me makes her more endearing to me. She needs me for EVERYTHING! But somehow, she’s never a burden. And neither are you. You NEVER burden God with your needs and should bring EVERYTHING to Him. Dare I say it makes you more endearing to Him. The moments you cling to Jesus, cast your cares on him, I believe He’s saying the same thing. I’m sure when Jesus looks at the scar in his hands … he says the same thing. YOU WERE WORTH IT!
