Radio for the Walk of Life

88.3 The Journey is a non-profit, listener-supported Christian radio station.  In a world that needs hope, joy, and meaningful relationships, we take to heart the words of Micah 6:8.

He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Our pledge to our listeners is to seek justice for all of God’s creation, to share mercy as God shares His mercy with us, and to walk humbly with you on this Walk of Life. In other words, we will strive to make it about Him and not us.

What We Believe

God is Good

The life-changing love of Christ fills us, motivates us, and overflows from us as we boldly share Him with everyone. We seek Him first, so our hearts align with His. His will is done in and through us, and we give Him all the credit.

Nothing is Impossible

I can do all this through Him who gives me strength. Phil. 4:13

If our hearts are aligned with Him and are seeking His will in our lives, we believe He will provide all we need is this Walk of Life.

Showing Visible Love

Because we love Jesus and serve Him with joy, we love people and care deeply about meeting their needs. We mobilize our community to do good works so that His love will be experienced. We partner with other organizations in North Texas to share His love in tangible ways.

We are Significant

Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. So in Christ Jesus, you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.  Gal. 3:23-29

To put it in simpler terms, if you love Jesus, then you are a child of God. In His kingdom, all are equal and worthy of justice and mercy.

Worship is a Lifestyle

Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Eph. 5:18-20

We believe a day filled with music and scriptures that draw us closer to Him is a day well spent. That’s why we commit to you to play the best music and programming we can find, focused on God and His son Jesus, encouraging the work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts and lives.  We want our hearts filled with thanks for Him.
