One of My Favorite Things

Today, just a moment to say thanks.  I just finished my favorite time of year when I work on getting the year-end accounting done for a meeting of my operating board this month. I just love looking at rows of numbers and am a little bummed I only get to do it a couple of times a year, he says sarcastically.

For me, though, it’s a good exercise to look back at the year. As I wrap 2013 and move into a new year, I can only express my thanks to God and to you for standing by The Journey. As I do the math, I find our donations for last year grew by almost $40,000, a 48% increase over this time last year. We’re only three years old and the has growth happened in the midst of a still tight economy. It still feels like a miracle to me and I appreciate how you have embraced the Journey. I’m so excited about what God has in store for us in 2014.
