44¢ Cure

May 5, 2014

The 44-Cent Cure is one of the most cost-effective ways to help the poor. Worms cause pain, sickness, stunted growth, and malnourishment in children. The cure is simple: deworming medicine and vitamin A restore a child to health. Healthy kids develop properly, and can attend school, helping break the cycle of poverty.

88.3 The Journey is partnering with World Concern for our first mission outreach project. Our goal for the day and a half event was to take care of more than 34,000 kids. We’ve wrapped up on air, but you can still make a gift to save a child’s life. Call 800-567-2206 or click the picture or click here to make a secure online pledge now.

Goal:  34,000 Children

Saved: 29,772 Children
