A Loss For Words
Sometimes, when I sit down in front of the computer to write, I’m at a loss for words. A serious problem for a radio guy, don’t you think? My life is made up of words; words on the radio, words in a classroom, both as a teacher and a student, words in a song, words in a book, in an email, on the phone and face to face. I understand words are objects of power and influence and I pray every day for the right words to say.
I got to spend some time recently in the studio, editing some phone calls to put on the air. Phone calls from listeners telling us how much they appreciate the songs we play with the right words at the right time and the programs we air with just the right words to speak to their heart and draw them closer to their heavenly Father.
As I listened to them share from their hearts, I found myself thankful for the opportunity to walk on this Journey with you, to share words of power and influence just when you need them. And to be reminded of the amazing God we serve, a creator God who concerns Himself with even the tiny details of what we need to hear today.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
