Warm Toes & A Thankful Heart

That’s how many pairs of socks, warm feet and happy little toes were covered last week by the Bless a Sole in Need sock drive. We’ve divided them up and delivered them to Operation Blessing of Johnson County in Cleburne and to Harvest House in Burleson to give away to families in need this holiday season. Thank you for your generosity and for going out of your way to help.
That’s just one of the many things I’m thankful for this season. I’m also thankful for your prayers for my mom and the rest of my family. Doctors have confirmed its cancer, both in her right lung and three lymph nodes in her neck. They’ve scheduled a whole battery of tests for the week after Thanksgiving to determine what type, where it’s located and what her treatment options are. We’ll spend a quiet Thanksgiving together with family and then get back after it. Your prayers for her and my family are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your involvement this past year on 88.3 the Journey. I’m excited about the year to come. And finally, let me wish you and yours a blessed and happy Thanksgiving.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
