One word sums up my life: Adventure! 🎉
My love for radio kicked off when I was 4, wearing out my little Fischer Price record player. By 12, I was hooked after picking a song to play live on a station field trip. Then in college, I literally walked right into my Radio/TV major and launched a joyful 38-year ride sharing encouraging stories on stations from Alaska (my home state!) to Oklahoma, Florida, Ohio, the Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia, and beyond. Now I’m super excited to join the 88.3 Journey Family here in the second-largest state—Texas, baby! (Though Alaska will always have a piece of my heart.)
When I’m off the air, my hubby Q (Quinten) and I flip houses, lead worship, and run our little hobby farm packed with chickens, ducks, goats, 3 cats, and 9 dogs—including chihuahuas, big fluffy Bernese Mountain Dogs and sweet Minibernedoodles. We’re so proud of our grown daughter Hosanna, who’s rocking it on the worship team and as a youth leader!
Fun facts: I’m all about donuts (glazed for days!), I really don’t like meatloaf, and thrifting + yard sales are my happy place. I got the best combo from my parents—Mom’s love for the Word and Dad’s contagious joy and laughter. My heart verse says it perfectly: Psalm 126:3 – “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with JOY!”
