Manager’s Memo 9-2-22
It’s tempting to confuse what you do with who you are. If you don’t have a job right now, don’t let that define you. You are more than what you do. An occupation is just something that you do or where you are employed. A vocation is a higher purpose in life that accomplishes much more than earning a paycheck. A vocation is something that you’re convicted or compelled to do for greater motives than personal gain. I can tell you right now that you have a vocation. To be faithful in returning what God has given to you. Your talents, your time, your money. It all belongs to God anyways. Your vocation is living a life of thankfulness in light of that fact that we don’t EARN our way. Every day is a gift. Everyday your TRUE vocation is being faithful in returning. Jobs come and go, but your vocation in Christ never changes.
For 88.3 The Journey I’m General Manager Danae Songy.
