Manager’s Memo 8-22-22
Honesty is the difference between being trustworthy or not. If we define honesty by how we’re treated in this world, there would be no hope. Convincing ourselves to lower our standards of giving what is right, will affect our ability to receive. Forbes magazine published this inspiring quote “The greatest want of the world is the want of men – men and women who will not be bought or sold; who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men and women who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men and women whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men and women who will stand for the right, though the heavens fall.” That’s a quote from Forbes, an American Business Magazine reminding us not to be “bought or sold” and that at our core, our souls should be “true and honest”. Honesty in all things is desperately needed across our nation at the moment. We should be honest with ourselves, our friends and our rivals. So I’m making the call for us, personally, to be honest in all things. Not gauging our practice of honesty by what we may see in others.
For 88.3 The Journey I’m General Manager Danae Songy.
