Manager’s Memo 5-30-22

Don’t you just love it when someone sends you some picture or quote that just makes your day? Or punches you in the gut. Either way, you know it’s God doing His thing. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God…” These words were spoken thousands of years ago but because God is your Creator, He knows when you need to hear them most. And that is right now. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be overly amazed at what you see. God knows. He knows. That’s why Jesus died, so all this STUFF we see will someday be no more. Shootings, politics, viruses… Everything. He continues in Isaiah 40, “I will strengthen you. I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Sounds like a promise to me. A promise only GOD could keep. Let’s stop expecting unreasonable people to be as nice as God, and let God fill those holes in our hearts and heal our wounds and our land. Expect to see His power, and you will, I promise! If you need to hear this kind of stuff more often, look no further than God’s Word, the Bible. Daily is good.
