Manager’s Memo 5-2-22
“That hand that rocks the cradle is the hand the rules the world.” -W.R Wallace. “Mom, I love you”. That day is coming up this weekend where we get the excuse to give mom a gift, call or a little extra of ourselves to show appreciation for giving birth to us, raising us and still fussing over our lives because … she can’t help it.
Moms, thank you for what you do that isn’t noticed. You’re God’s special unseen missionary on a daily basis. Caring like he would care, about the little things and the big things. At times you meddle, but that’s ok, because it’s better than being ignored. Today, we honor your service because being a parent is the highest calling there is. Mother’s day is almost a commandment in the Bible “honor your Father and Mother, and things will go well for you.” Now I know, I know, no one is perfect, but whether she deserves it or not, you honor her for God’s sake. Whether you live near or far, whether she’s sleeping in Jesus or not, we honor our mom’s and pray that we can be all she hoped we would be in Christ Jesus.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Danae Songy.
