Manager’s Memo 3-2-23

What yoke will you take on today? Yours which will be heavy? Or God’s yoke, which will be light. Don’t get me wrong, God leads us through hard things sometimes and we’ll wonder if we’re going to make it, like when I gave birth to my daughter, I literally resolved to die. But what’s crazy about the yoke of God’s verses mine, it’s like because someone is helping you carry your burdens. God is carrying you through. But you have to let Him. Letting him means trusting Him. Easier said than done. Here’s my prayer for you and I to take up the right yoke today. “Take me Oh Lord as wholly thine, I lay all my plans at thy feet. Use me today in thy service. Abide with me and let all my work be wrought in thee. This is a daily thing every morning. If you’re listening now, I dedicate you to God for this day, that you may surrender all of your plans to be carried out or given up as He shows you the way to go. “In quietness and trust is your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15)
