Manager’s Memo 2-7-22
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, remember God, and He will direct your paths … sounds beautiful. When you’re not going thru something. When the rubber meets the road on your journey. You get unexpected news, someone breathes their last, car accidents, diagnosis. When your heart can’t take anymore, this verse comes to life and starts being more than a pretty poem.
Our prayer board by the front desk is full, some of them are you who have left prayer requests, who have a choice. Am I going to trust in the Lord (aka not worry about tomorrow) or am I going to lean into my experience based on what I know from past situations. It’s tough. But the right answer is the first one. No matter how much you think you know, God’s thoughts are higher. So trusting Him is always better. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, remember God, and He will direct your paths.
