Manager’s Memo 12-6-22
Socks. Underwear and year end giving. They all have something in common. One warms the feet, another the body and one warms the heart. All are needed. God isn’t asking us to give our only Son like He did. He just says “Hey. I love you. If you love me, you can do it by loving each other.” In otherwords “God loves a cheerful giver”. The Bible says if you sow bountifully, you’ll reap bountifully! Our sock and underwear drive for the less fortunate, and who inflation has hit the most, is going on. There are baskets for you to drop off new socks and underwear in the lobbies of Pinnacle Banks in Cleburne, Burleson, Joshua, Keene, Benbrook, Mansfield and Rio Vista.
After you’ve warmed the body, now consider warming the heart. Year end giving to The Journey means so much. Not just to us, we exists to share the love of Jesus 24 hours a day without commercials interrupting. Jesus says when you’ve done it for the least of these you’ve done it for Me. Our faith in God’s provision through YOU, sustains us year after year.
Together, we are the encouragers of the hurting. Click here for year-end giving
