Manager’s Memo 12-21-20
Facebook has been taunting me with pictures of Christmas gatherings with family and friends from the past few years. “We thought you might like this. No, not really, but thanks.” As the holidays do for many of us, especially this year, I’m feeling a bit nostalgic. I’m thinking about loved ones and longing for a time when we will all be together again.
I’m reminded God feels the same way about us. This Christmas season we’re celebrating is His solution to the longing He feels to be with His children. Christmas, the celebration of Emmanuel, God taking the form of man, leads inevitably to Easter, the celebration of His sacrifice for our sins. One day we will celebrate the birth and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus, face to face with Him. My Bible says it going to be quite a celebration.
And as the year winds down, please remember, what happens every day at the Journey is only possible because listeners, just like you, are financial supporters. If you are blessed by what you hear and appreciate the ministry of The Journey, know it happens only when you are involved. Click the donate button at the top of the page to give.
Merry Christmas. Have a blessed and happy New Year. And thank you for your support and prayers for the Journey.
