Manager’s Memo 12-20-2016
It was this time last year I told you about our project to build a new tower and replace a 27-year-old antenna for the first time. I am pleased to tell you that project is now complete. All that remains is notice from the government that we can begin broadcasting with full power from the site on the new antenna. We have already heard from folks who hear it farther and better. It would be an understatement to say I am excited about finishing this project and about the potential for ministry the new tower and antenna will provide for The Journey.
Now we need to let those new folks know we exist. That requires resources and just like He did with the new tower and antenna and everything else around here, God will provide those resources through our listeners. As you consider your year-end giving for 2016, would you consider sending a gift to the Journey to help share the station with even more people in North Texas? We ended our Fall Sharathon about $30,000 shy of our goal. Your help this month, before year’s end, will provide the resources we need to continue to provide ministry to even more families across North Texas. To make a safe and secure online gift, you can visit our website at 8 8 3 the journey dot org. Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
