Manager’s Memo 12-2-23

Don’t you wish God would remove your problems right now to help you believe in Him? Promise you a good year before 2023 starts? So do I…

But that’s putting the cart before the horse. So you can’t please God without faith. Having faith means we’ll have uncertainty in our lives.  I use to count God faithful when he would REMOVE the uncertainty. Show me a sign and fix the problem FIRST instead of acting on faith before I saw it! Sound like a pharisee you know? I was like, “ok God, give me physical security, help us make our flight, please help the insurance to cover this bill before the end of the month”. THESE things will grow my faith. WHAT? That’s the opposite of “Lord, things don’t look good but I believe you’re going to make it happen”. We have faith because of how God walks us thru uncertainty, not that he takes uncertainty away. We can have peace IN our 2023 uncertainties.
