Manager’s Memo 12-16-21
Excuse me ma’am, where’s the line to see Jesus? A little boy asked a lady that was in line to see Santa Clause. He continued “Is Jesus here at the store? Santa Clause brought me presents but Christ gave His life for me?” She looked away and pondering this for a moment before she responded, but never got to. The boy disappeared.
Christmas, the celebration of Emmanuel, God taking the form of man, leads inevitably to Easter, the celebration of His sacrifice for our sins. One day we will celebrate the birth and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus, face to face with Him. You might celebrate Christmas different than I do, but no one can get around the real reason for the season no matter how many grandma’s get runover by a reindeer.
And as the year winds down, please remember, what happens every day at the Journey is only possible because listeners, just like you, are financial supporters. If you are blessed by what you hear and appreciate the ministry of The Journey, know it happens only when you are involved. Find out more about making a year-end gift on our website at 88.3 the journey dot org.
For Manager’s first Christmas (I need an ornament for this) I’m Danae Songy.
