Manager’s Memo 11-3-20 Tenth Anniversary
“Hello, I’m Mike Agee, the general manager of the 88.3 The Journey, a new broadcast ministry serving the southwest corner of the Metroplex. It’s been a long, hot, and busy summer, but I think we’re ready. And as a result, 88.3 The Journey has taken its first few steps this week as a new broadcast ministry serving our corner of the Metroplex.
While I can’t promise we’ll never make a mistake or do everything you expect of us, I can promise 88.3 The Journey will be all about being beside you on this disciple journey we’re on. Our music and programming will be focused on worshiping the King, helping us be better disciples and neighbors in our walk of life with Him.”
Those words were from my first Manager’s Memo ten years ago. November first, we began our eleventh year on the air. While much has changed, especially the last few years with a new building, tower, antenna, website, app, and smart speaker skills, I pray the original promise of walking on this disciple journey together hasn’t changed. No matter how you listen to the Journey, I want you to hear the love of the Father and the hope He has promised in His son Jesus. Because in truth, nothing else matters.
Thank you for allowing us along on your faith journey and for making this ministry possible. I’m excited to see what He has in store for us in the year to come.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
