Manager’s Memo 11-16-20
David says in Psalm 100 know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us and we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Thanksgiving will look different for many of us this year. Even in the midst of political turmoil, the uncertainty and fatigue of pandemic restrictions, and our everyday trouble, be thankful God is on his throne. He made us and we are his people. He is good. His love and faithfulness endure forever. We have much to be thankful for.
And we are most thankful for the gift of Jesus. Even though we celebrate Him all year long on the Journey, there is something special about the music we hear during the Christmas season. Christmas music begins after Thanksgiving on the Journey. The plan is for all Christmas music weekends and a mix of music during the week through Christmas. And please be in prayer about the new listeners who will land on the Journey over the next few weeks. Research says this time when many listeners go hunting for a new radio station. We believe this is a good place for them to land and to stay.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
