Manager’s Memo 11-04-2019
I’m sure some of you won’t be shocked to hear this since you know it to be true, but recently, people have been looking at me like I may have slipped around the bend mentally. It seems to come immediately after this question. “What are you going to do since you didn’t reach your Sharathon goal?” Perhaps it is my answer. “Why, I’m going to run around with my hands in the air yelling woe is me because God has forsaken us!”
Then I get the look and a “No, He hasn’t.” Then with a smile, I say “no, He hasn’t” and remind them that the Lord himself goes before us and will be with us. I remind them He will never leave us nor forsake us andwe shouldn’t be afraid or discouraged. That promise was good enough for Joshua as he led the children into the Promised Land. I have the faith to believe it can still apply to this baby radio station in North Texas.
More than three hundred families have partnered with us this fall for more than sixty-eight thousand dollars, about sixty-six percent of the fall goal. What are we going to do? Be thankful for what we have received. Remind you your support is vital to our success and if you haven’t already, you can make a gift on our website at eight eight three the journey dot org. Ask you to pray for us. And remember God has plan for this ministry and He is faithful. Basically, just like we do every day since the Journey signed on nine years ago.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
