Manager’s Memo 07-27-2016
I’m excited about writing this Manager’s Memo. This one should be the last one I write before we begin construction on the new tower and antenna project. After this one, they should all be about dirt piles, concrete and stacking steel in the air, with encouragement to check out the website and Facebook page for pictures and video.
As I write this, our total stands at $28,887.82, what I think is enough to finish the project, barring unforeseen stuff. The engineering survey for the tower and guy wire foundation placement is complete. Now we are waiting on soil testing to finish foundation blueprints, which the city is waiting on for a building permit. Dirt should fly shortly. Allowing twenty-eight days to cure the concrete, we hope to start stacking our tower and hang the new antenna early September.
Thank you for your support on this project. Dirt is about to fly. If you want to help with the remaining $1,200 in unforeseen stuff funds, you can make a secure, online donation today on our website at eight eight three the journey dot org. Look for the Antenna Project Update on the front page.
Dirt is about to fly! Thanks for all you do for us.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m an excited General Manager Mike Agee.
