Manager’s Memo 06-07-2016
It’s been an amazing couple of weeks at the Journey. Eighty of you have contributed more than $17,500 towards our new antenna project, including Maggie, who sent in seventeen dollars to help with the project. Maggie is seven and listens to the Journey all of the time. Twenty-nine have given $250 or more.
We need $28,000 to pay for the antenna, mounting hardware and the cost of installation. That means about $10,000 in about four weeks to complete the project. I’m excited. And living by faith, which is a good place to be, frankly.
The new antenna has been ordered and is in fabrication. The final section of our new tower is being designed. We hope to start pushing dirt around to build the tower foundations the middle of July. The higher tower and antenna should add more than 200,000 people to our coverage area. Probably a few more kids like Maggie, as well.
If you have been thinking about being involved in the Antenna project, now is the time. To make a donation, go to our website at 8 8 3 the journey dot org. Thanks in advance for all you do to further the ministry of The Journey. And if you have already contributed, thank you. Will you continue to pray for the project and its successful completion? I appreciate your support and prayers.
For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
