Manager’s Memo 04-22-2019
Whew! A successful Sharathon is behind us. Thanks again for your support. We’ve managed to get all of our pieces of paper taken care of and things are kind of back to normal. At least as normal as they can be around here. Now I’ll turn more of my attention to getting the new building ready to go.
Remodeling of the building is complete. We began construction of a new production studio Sharathon week. The new furniture is set-up. The new control board is sitting in its assigned place. The new programming computers have arrived and are being configured by our campus IT staff. The vendor engineer is scheduled for the week of May 20th to convert all of our music and programming to the new system. IT is also digging a new trench for a fiber optic cable to connect our new building and our transmitter site. A new glass front door has been ordered. Still working on back-up power generators at the new studio and transmitter site.
If all of the many moving parts come together as planned, we should be originating programming form the new building May 21 or 22. Then we start taking apart our existing studios and move them, hopefully all finished by May 24. Your prayers for the last thirty days of this project would be greatly appreciated.
Fearful I have forgotten something important, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
