Manager’s Memo 03-31-2017
What do you do when the power goes off for the last two hours of your Sharathon and keeps you from reaching the goal? You praise the Lord anyway! When God did something incredible for the patriarchs and the Children of Israel, they built an altar where they could worship the Lord and remember His loving kindness for His people. We built an altar this week one call at a time, where we could worship the Lord and celebrate His loving kindness! More than 450 listeners contributing almost $126,000! Thank you so much. This altar was built with the help of many.
Thanks to almost thirty volunteers who came and answered phones, prayed with listeners and provided delicious snacks and refreshments. Thanks to the T-Shirt Factory in Cleburne for their donation of this year’s volunteer t-shirts. Thank you to Savala’s Breakfast Burritos, Mountain Coffee, Mr. Jim’s Pizza, Red House Coffee Roasters, Main Street Elite, Benbrook Chik-Fil-A, Peacock Transmissions, Keene Church, Smoothie King, Heights Church, Cookies PLZ, Alvarado Chicken Express and Olivia’s Café & Catering for the treats and meals.
Another special thank you to Danae, Wanda and the rest of my hard-working staff. They are amazing. Finally, all praise and glory to our God, who is willing to exceed abundantly in all we can think or imagine.
If you missed your chance to call in the last morning to push us over the top, you can still make a gift online at 8 8 3 the journey dot org. For The Journey, I’m a tired but very thankful General Manager Mike Agee. May God richly bless you for your support of this ministry.
