SUMMARY:2nd Saturday Bird Walks
DESCRIPTION:2nd Saturday Bird Walks are intended to help beginning and intermediate birders with bird spotting and identification techniques. There are also plenty of opportunities provided for participants to ask questions of experienced birders. Prairie\, woodland\, and wetland habitats are included in these walks. This program is typically offered monthly from September through June annually. These walks begin promptly at 8 AM and last 1.5 hours. \nThis program is included in general admission and is free for Heard Museum members. Optional extended time is available by participant request. Be sure to arrive on time\, because if you come a few minutes late\, the group may have already started their walk. Thanks to the incredible support of our community\, the Christmas Market continues to grow and bring joy to hundreds of shoppers each year. But we can’t do it without you! \nThis year’s Christmas Market will be held Saturday\, December 6th from 12:00pm –8:00 p.m. and December 7th from 12:00pm – 5:00pm at Elisa Carver Park (909 N Old Betsy Rd).
