A Texas Tradition for more than a Quarter Century!

The triumphant return of the greatest story ever told is now scheduled for 2021! Presented live at the Texas Amphitheatre every Friday and Saturdays in October.

THE PROMISE is a one-of-a-kind musical production performed annually at the Texas Amphitheater in Glen Rose, Texas. It combines an award winning musical score with a 150-person cast and crew, live animals, historically accurate costumes, and breathtaking lights, sound and special effects, all of which tell the story of the life of Jesus Christ in modern family-friendly fashion.

In its 33 year history, The Promise has toured internationally and has enjoyed a lengthy run in Branson, Missouri, but The Texas Amphitheatre remains the home base for the original production that has been seen by countless thousands.
