City of Kennedale BBQ Showdown
Do you barbecue? Then look no further than the City of Kennedale’s Barbecue Showdown May 19 and 20 at the Kennedale Speedway Park, 6737 Hudson Village Creek Rd, Kennedale, Tx 76060!
The City of Kennedale invites you to bring your best BBQ skills in our first City of Kennedale Barbecue Showdown. Contestants can find the rules and regulations on our website at www.cityofkennedale.com.
The Barbecue Showdown will follow IBCA rules and regulations. This BBQ competition will consist of brisket, ribs, and chicken for a $200 entry fee. BBQ contestants are also welcome to enter their best beans for an additional $25 entry fee. There will be a $5,000+ payout for the barbecue and the beans will have a separate payout at 100%.
Check in time for all BBQ teams begins at 2:00 pm Friday, May 19. All cooks must be checked in by 6:00 am Saturday, May 20, 2023.
All contestants will receive free tickets to the dirt track sprint races after the competition at 7:00 pm, courtesy of Kennedale Speedway Park.
