Thankful
David says in Psalm 100 know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us and we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his loves endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. As we celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends, don’t forget to be ... Beginnings & Endings
Beginnings and endings. Seems I am surrounded by them. I am days from completing my last doctoral class. All that will remain is completion of my capstone project. These final assignments have been filled with reflection on the program, what I have learned, how I have grown and changed over the course of the last two and half years on the way to becoming Dr. Agee. Reflection on beginni ... Read More13August

What Does the Lord Require?
Last Thursday, Wanda and I celebrated 37 years of marriage. That morning, she told me she loved me. We prayed together. She put the dog in the car. And drove away. That’s how couples who have been married thirty-seven years celebrate anniversaries, at least this couple. She headed to Michigan, to spend time with her 89-year-old mother. Been trying to get her up there every few months, becaus ... Read More26May

And We’re In!!
88.3 The Journey has a new home. Granted, it is a home full of boxes and stacks of stuff, equipment still waiting to be plugged in, wires to be run and connected in all three studios, and sound treatment to go up in two studios. Still lots of things to do, and I‘m still uncertain it will all fit. Who knew we had this much stuff? But the important stuff is working and we are still prais ... Read More17May

What a Week!
We have a two-week window with engineers to build, move and reconfigure three studios. As I write this, we are beginning the second week. Last week was a week of eighteen-hour days, with a 22-hour day thrown in for good measure, neck deep in cables, wires, equipment and studio furniture. With a few more tweaks over the weekend, two of the three studios were ready to go Monday morning, ... Read More29March

Prayers
I’ve been talking about praying for us the past ten days or so on-air. There are plenty of reasons why your prayers are so important. Last weekend, a power outage knocked us off the air for a few hours and wreaked havoc with our computer network. Two major vendors for the radio remodel have gone silent on cost and availability of gear, leaving us with an engineer next week and no work to do ... Read More21March

Just a Little Silly
This week has been just a little bit silly at the Journey. Spring Sharathon is coming, and everything involved in getting ready for that. In the last few days, I’ve placed orders for almost $70,000 worth of equipment and furniture for the new production studio, programming computers, phone system upgrade and studio transmitter links. Construction at the new building is complete. I was out sick wit ... Read More25February

Thank You!
I’m certain I don’t say it often enough, but this time it’s easy. Thank you to 110 individuals and families who are partnering with us as part of our Gideon’s Army project. Your support will help us finish a new home for 88.3 The Journey. And thanks again to Huguley Hospital for providing a former doctor’s office here in Keene to turn into a radio station. Obviously, 119 isn’t the 300 we were aski ... Read More14February
